Built for families
Trust is not a marketing bullet — it is a product requirement. Parents hold the account; children get nicknames-only profiles; the business model is subscription, not ads or in-game purchases in the child experience.
COPPA-aware design
Parents create the account first. Child profiles use nicknames, not full names in the experience. Registration flows seek verifiable parental consent appropriate to the jurisdictions we serve.
Transparency & review
As AI-backed sessions go live, our plan is a parent-facing log: stories, quizzes, and prompts your child saw in a session, so you can review what was generated — not just aggregate scores.
No ads; clean monetization
No third-party ads in the child product. No surprise IAP for core learning. Cosmetics in our design vision are earned through play, not sold in a cash shop — so monetization stays understandable for caregivers.
Controls you should expect
- Age gates and district unlocks (e.g. yōkai content for older kids with explicit parent opt-in).
- Grade / difficulty override when supported.
- Weekly or monthly session summaries as dashboards mature.
Parent dashboard (roadmap)
Long-term features from our design docs include: multiple child profiles per subscription, session history (world, activities, time), full content log, curriculum track picker, and export/removal workflows aligned with privacy law.
