Is Book Fairy Tales aligned with my child's school curriculum?
No — and that's by design. Book Fairy Tales is a self-paced supplement, not a curriculum replacement or a certified standards program. It's inspired by juku (Japanese cram school) and vacation-workbook traditions like the French cahier de vacances and Japanese natsuyasumi no tomo — approaches that have helped kids build skills outside the classroom for generations. BFT uses its own internal mastery-leveling system rather than grade-equivalents, so it doesn't claim alignment with any state or national standard.
What ages is Book Fairy Tales for?
Book Fairy Tales is designed for children ages 5–12, with content and question difficulty that adjusts to each child's BFT Level. Some districts (like the Yōkai Quarter) are gated for older players with explicit parent unlock.
How does the AI story generation work?
Each time your child talks to a character in Tsubaki-chō, a new, original story or activity is generated just for them — no two sessions are exactly alike. Every story is reviewed for age-appropriate language and cultural respectfulness before it reaches your child.
What does my child's activity look like from a parent's side?
Every session — including the story your child read and how they did on the follow-up questions — is logged in your parent dashboard, so you always know what they've seen.
Is there a free trial?
